My name is Alexander Barker, I am a Product Designer in Los Angeles, California. My focus within design is luggage and other bags and accessories. I am developing a sustainable bag company in LA and will use this blog to track my progress and share the research I do, to help other people source sustainable materials in LA. I hope to find a sustainable fabric, sew all my bags in LA, and use a portion of my proceeds to help the LA community. I see this project turning into something that could be transitioned to cities all over the world to help boost small businesses and local communities.
